Job Title: Senior Automation Solutions Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at Vanzandt Controls and Eagle Automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales team as a technical resource, designing control panels, building BOMs, and engineering power supply systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop applications and improve existing software to meet customer needs and internal processes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of products we sell and support.
  • Understand our customer base to make appropriate sales recommendations.
  • Document technical findings and share knowledge with sales and operations teams.
  • Work with sales and operations teams to grow sales as a consultative resource.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of O&G experience in measurement, automation, and/or electrical field.
  • Knowledgeable in Schneider Electric, Emerson/ROC, ABB Totalflow, and Allen Bradley products; experience preferred.
  • Flow meter and general instrumentation experience required.
  • Knowledge of reading electrical and structural P&ID's required.
  • Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/Maintenance or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

Benefits
  • Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Overnight travel less than 25% of the time.
