Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to our nation's veterans.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary team environment, providing a range of mental health services to veterans. This includes diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and cognitive assessments. You will also have the opportunity to participate in program evaluation and research activities, as well as provide clinical supervision to trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy services to veterans with a range of mental health conditions.
  2. Conduct cognitive assessments and develop treatment plans to address cognitive deficits.
  3. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  4. Provide clinical supervision to trainees and participate in program evaluation and research activities.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to veterans.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in Psychology from an accredited APA or CPA program, as well as completion of an internship. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
