Job Title: Lead UI Software Engineer

Electronic Arts (EA) is a leading sports entertainment brand, and we're seeking a skilled Lead UI Software Engineer to join our team.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces that meet our project goals. You will work closely with our interface designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, and collaborate with our server and client engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and improve client front-end screens and workflows
  • Work with interface designers to create screens and components
  • Collaborate with server and client engineers to establish and test end-to-end functionality
  • Refine underlying screen navigation workflow
  • Work with domain owners to integrate and develop technologies into the game
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to team members
  • Design and implement technology strategies to enhance UI development

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on UI and C++
  • Proficiency in integrating and maintaining large-scale systems
  • Advanced debugging skills applicable to client/server multiplayer games
  • Experience developing in and debugging multi-threaded/concurrent architectures
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio and debugging tools
