Job Summary:

The Student Success Coach will contribute to the success of undergraduate students enrolled in the College. This role will involve proactively engaging with students through academic success programming, using analytics and data to coordinate outreach and response, and leveraging collaborative relationships with student success stakeholders to promote student persistence and academic success.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with students through academic success programming to promote student persistence and academic success.
  • Use analytics and data to coordinate outreach and response to targeted student populations.
  • Leverage collaborative relationships with student success stakeholders to promote student persistence and academic success.
  • Coordinate college-level programming to increase sense of belonging, access, and success among all students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience working with students, educators, and business professionals in an advisory role.
  • Demonstrated capacity for project management, writing, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of situations.
  • Ability to use data to assist in decision making, advising software programs, student information systems, and common office technology software systems.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in student affairs, educational administration, counseling, or related fields.
  • Experience working at a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Experience providing student success support for first generation, low-income, and/or minority college students.
  • Demonstrated counseling skills.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in order to apply inclusive advising strategies.
