Job Title: Cloud-Native Engineer - Siri and Search

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Native Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of cloud-native solutions for Siri and Search.

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate software engineer with a strong background in computer science and experience in designing and building cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and data structures, as well as strong coding skills in Go, Java, C/C++, or Rust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-native solutions for Siri and Search
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to lead the design and development of observability solutions for AIML products and infrastructure
  • Provide technical guidance and share observability know-how with the team
  • Mentor the team to develop and deliver best-of-class solutions
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of engineering experience and a strong background in computer science
  • Distributed systems, algorithms, and data structures
  • Strong coding skills in Go, Java, C/C++, or Rust
  • Experience with AWS services such as EKS/Kubernetes, Amazon S3, networking, database, and monitoring services
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure service providers or private cloud environments
  • Time-series based observability systems, distributed tracing, logging, and profiling at scale and telemetry data collection frameworks
  • Large-scale alert management and notification systems
  • Machine learning and NLP algorithms, LLMs, AIOps
