Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Rehab Hospital. As a RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver individualized care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct Therapy Sessions: Lead and participate in therapy sessions, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Monitor and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patient progress and document observations, assessments, and interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of employment and/or compact licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
