At Apple, we are seeking a skilled Software Beta Program Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software release team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our software releases.

About the Role

This is a diverse role that includes directly contacting external customers, internal program management, and engineering teams. You will monitor pre and post-release public feedback to identify and call out new issues in the field. Reporting on progress of seeding programs, assessment of incoming feedback, and other project status will also be a part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Contact external customers, internal program management, and engineering teams
  • Monitor pre and post-release public feedback
  • Report on progress of seeding programs and assessment of incoming feedback
  • Support ongoing development of our seeding program tools
  • Investigate issues reported by our outside users through test reproduction, debugging, and diagnostics analysis

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in QA, project management, or customer technical support for software products
  • Ability to debug hard problems and investigate root cause analysis
  • Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills

Salary

The base pay range for this role is between $129,600 and $236,300, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
