Role Overview:

Job Summary

  • Conducts a range of chemical evaluations and compliance reviews in alignment with industry standards and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute routine analyses (including dissolution, assay/degradant, content uniformity, and identification) of pharmaceutical products within a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Complete all designated testing efficiently and systematically, adhering to established industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Input data into laboratory management systems and meticulously document all pertinent information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment according to prescribed procedures; perform basic troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Facilitate open communication within the team to share and gather information, optimizing resource utilization and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Assist colleagues as needed to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ensure that laboratory equipment and workspaces are maintained according to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Restock chemicals and supplies utilized in testing processes.
  • Perform additional related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline is required. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with analytical techniques (such as HPLC, GC, dissolution testing, automation, or spectroscopy including UV/Vis, NIR, IR, or AA/AE).
  • Relevant experience may encompass both academic and industry settings, evaluated based on the quality and relevance of the experience to the position's requirements.
