Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dining Services Manager I to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of food service professionals and overseeing the overall service in the main dining room as well as special functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of food service professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Assist with profit and loss management, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Waited table and catering experience is preferred.
  • Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
