Job Responsibilities:

As a Fire Alarm Inspector I, you'll be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler, or Suppression life safety product lines. You'll work with low voltage wiring and associated devices, complete service acknowledgements, and follow a structured inspection schedule.

Requirements:

  • Fire alarm license and 1-2 years of documented service experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage, and ability to troubleshoot systems and perform necessary repairs
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work in unusual positions, and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements, and high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Special Hazards experience, Fire pump experience, and Service background
  • NICET Level II certification, Backflow License, and familiarity with sprinkler systems and extinguishers
