As a Senior Procurement Professional at TalentBridge, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of commodity strategies that ensure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Your expertise will contribute to the deployment of globally defined methods, processes, and systems, ensuring high process efficiency and compliance, particularly within the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) framework.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
Develop and implement commodity strategies to secure long-term, cost-efficient material supplies, leveraging your expertise in procurement and supply chain management.
Process Optimization:
Ensure the usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems, contributing to high process efficiency and compliance, especially in P2P processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Negotiation and Contracting:
Prepare and conduct negotiations to achieve the highest feasible savings, documenting and implementing these savings to enhance business success, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
Supplier Management:
Execute Supplier Management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification, to ensure a robust and diverse supplier base.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with internal customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement in procurement processes, and provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
Project Support:
Provide supplier information and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations, impacting local and regional category procurement activities, and support project teams in achieving their objectives.
Impact and Accountability:


You will impact the Category Procurement Team by managing local or regional procurement activities, identifying and analyzing customer needs, and preparing negotiations and contracts, and be accountable for the delivery of high-quality results and the achievement of business objectives.

Your role involves integrating analysis, development, testing, and implementation to meet functional objectives within a project-driven environment, and contribute to the development of a best-in-class procurement function.
Qualifications:

Experience:


10+ years of experience with deep professional know-how and expertise in a specific sub-domain, with the ability to transfer and apply this knowledge across various contexts, and a proven track record of delivering results in a procurement or supply chain environment.


Knowledge and Skills:
Strong functional, commercial, and technical knowledge in procurement, with solid judgment and problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
Professionalism and Certifications:
Chartered professional qualifications or equivalent expertise, though not required, may be advantageous, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
