Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer to join our team at Guild Mortgage Company. As a Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in the organization by performing a variety of activities directly related to the company's Production functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain accurate and thorough loan applications, ensuring completeness of submission to processing.
  • Collect supporting documentation from borrowers, including paystubs, tax returns, and W2s.
  • Obtain executed disclosures within regulatory time frames and analyze credit reports and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products.
  • Determine profitable loan options and communicate fees to the operations team.
  • Submit complete loan packages to processing, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field.
  • Active NMLS License.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
