Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Lending department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering best-in-class loan solutions to our existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized loan solutions to customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient lending experience.
- Recommend curated loan options to customers, taking into account their unique needs and financial situations.
- Escalate customer concerns to management to ensure timely resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Streamline and manage the loan pipeline, meeting required pull-through ratios and production targets.
- Collect and analyze customer documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with investor guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal regulations, including RESPA, TILA, ECOA, TRID, and CFPB.
- Thorough understanding of the underwriting process and agency and investor requirements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members.
- Minimum 3+ years of mortgage originations experience.
- 2+ years of consumer direct mortgage experience.
- Previous experience with relevant technology, such as DU, LP, Encompass, and CRMs.
- Active MLO state licenses in NMLS.
