Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic Supervisor to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our Rapid Response Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Rapid Response Team, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication among team members.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Provide educational leadership and training to team members to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of directly related experience as a Paramedic or in a leadership role.
  • Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and other relevant areas.
  • Valid New Mexico driver's license and UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit.
Working Conditions

This position requires heavy physical exertion, exposure to infectious agents, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of settings.
