About the Role:

ALS is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Torrance, CA. As a key member of our Laboratory Department, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing customer service via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assisting clients with test updates and reports
  • Returning samples to clients
  • Performing general clerical duties, including answering phone calls, scanning documents, and entering results into our LIMS system
  • Generating laboratory reports and retrieving files/folders
  • Assisting with generating or updating internal documents
  • Ordering laboratory supplies and following up on orders

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
