About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Riverwood. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community, ensuring that our residents live in a comfortable and attractive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, including sinks, toilets, and surfaces
  • Ensure common areas, offices, and public restrooms are clean and well-maintained
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors on a routine basis
  • Replenish soap and paper products as needed
  • Clean spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
  • Use cleaners and other hazardous materials according to product instructions and department procedure
  • Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a housekeeping or facilities role, preferably in a multi-unit environment
  • Experience working with the senior population, particularly in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
