Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Summary

This role assists the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and supervises the team in their absence. The Restaurant Assistant Manager leads and coaches Restaurant Team Members, partnering with the management team to maintain Company and Brand operational standards, ensuring all guests leave satisfied.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional guest service in a fast and friendly manner, coaching and correcting team members as needed.
  • Conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads, ensuring a thorough evaluation process.
  • Maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties, assigning shift duties to team members and following up to ensure completion.
  • Directs the team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with Brand, Company, and health department regulations, coaching team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management.
  • Cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Responsible for placing campaign materials upon request, promoting the brand and driving sales.
  • Ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met, monitoring and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift, completing end-of-shift and end-of-day paperwork and counts as required.
  • In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Assistant Manager completes daily, weekly, and end-of-period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes, reporting any incidents following the 5-minute rule policy.
  • Partners with the Restaurant Manager to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant, living the Company values: One Team, Do the Right Thing, Take Ownership, Play to Win.

Requirements
  • Full-time requirement, with availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre-opening and post-closing
  • Valid state Driver's License required
