Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee patrols and strategic surveillance to maintain a visible security presence within the store.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of new Loss Prevention Associates.
  • Stay informed about the company's Safety and Security protocols.
  • Investigate theft incidents as directed by the Loss Prevention Manager.
  • Identify, report, and address safety concerns, inventory discrepancies, cash handling issues, and theft incidents while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Supervise safety inspections, provide thorough documentation, and communicate potential hazards.
  • Manage access control for employees and visitors to uphold physical security.
  • Monitor surveillance systems as required.
  • Represent Burlington in legal proceedings related to Loss Prevention actions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.

Candidates should be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods and may require lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs. Previous experience in security or retail loss prevention is preferred.
