Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at the Center for Precision Mental Health and Wellness in Stanford University's School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an innovative area of precision medicine trials focused on mental health, applying medical knowledge and experience to drive groundbreaking research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess psychiatric and physical health, administer treatments, and oversee study conduct to ensure participant safety.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, researchers, and outside clinicians to administer treatment and study protocols.
  • Assess, grade, and document adverse events, applying triage and judgment to determine the course of action.
  • Oversee and administer medications and treatments per study protocol and scope of practice.
  • Comply with institutional policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines, preparing and submitting documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the California State Board of Registered Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the California State Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NPF) Certificate or certification to practice as a physician assistant issued by the California State Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
  • Current basic and advanced CPR certification.
