Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to the development and deployment of our cloud-based observability platform. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve system reliability, resilience, and observability
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to production incidents and drive root cause analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and prioritize reliability improvements
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives
- 8+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong background in Linux systems engineering
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration technologies, and configuration management tools (Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of APM and Observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Sentry)
- Experience with incident response tools (PagerDuty, FireHydrant, Blameless)
- Comfortable working in a distributed team environment with a high level of autonomy
- Knowledge of cloud security and design patterns for scale, data management, and resiliency
- Experience with high-quality testing and a love for dashboards, metrics, and SLOs
Cribl, Inc offers a competitive salary range of $144,000 - $278,000, depending on location and experience. We also provide a generous benefits package, including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
