Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site clinical assessments for both new and existing clients, showcasing the functionality of our products and services to enhance the utilization of IGS (Image Guided Surgery) technologies.
- Offer expert consulting and support to surgeons and operating room staff, facilitating optimal surgical outcomes through effective problem-solving and decision-making during procedures.
- Oversee the installation and operational setup of our systems at client locations.
- Provide training and education to medical personnel, including surgeons, Radiology staff, and Biomedical engineers, on the effective use of our surgical solutions.
- Leverage engineering knowledge to contribute to quality enhancement initiatives by suggesting product improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular communication and site visits to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for service contracts and upgrades.
- Collaborate with the regional Account Manager to identify customer needs and develop sales strategies.
- Address product-related challenges through thorough analysis and engineering expertise.
- Stay informed about advancements in Brainlab technologies and competitive offerings through continuous training and research.
- Participate in annual continuing education for surgical practices and maintain product knowledge.
- Promote our surgical solutions at industry trade shows.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.
- Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role within the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Customer service experience of 1-2 years is advantageous.
- Familiarity with surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of making independent decisions.
