Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining timely, accurate, and actionable financial information for management use. This includes preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, including GAAP and FASB
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in accounting or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with management and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including accounting and financial reporting tools
