Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Photogrammetry Professional to join our team at BAE Systems USA. This individual will be responsible for providing advanced photogrammetry support to our Intelligence Community (IC) customers, leveraging expertise in Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) processing and analysis, Electro-Optical (EO) imagery point cloud generation, and multi-source dataset co-registration.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of photogrammetry principles and have a minimum of 10 years' experience processing and analyzing LiDAR data or EO point clouds, with a strong focus on precision and error documentation. Experience applying geodetic and photogrammetric principles to co-register multiple datasets to the WGS 84 reference frame and perform statistical analysis is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop processes to assemble multi-source 3D remote reconnaissance packages for geodetic survey missions, leveraging existing data and services where possible.
  • Rfine and automate package production processes based on feedback from customers.
  • Supervise junior contractor analysts in remote reconnaissance package production.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of photogrammetry, including LiDAR processing and analysis and EO point cloud generation.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience processing and analyzing LiDAR data or EO point clouds, with a strong focus on precision and error documentation.
  • Experience applying geodetic and photogrammetric principles to co-register multiple datasets to the WGS 84 reference frame and perform statistical analysis.
  • Experience using QT Modeler, Socet Set, or similar elevation or point cloud processing and analysis software.
  • Experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
  • Knowledge of digital data formats such as vector data, raster data, shape files, GML, XML.

Preferred Qualifications

  • STEM degree.
  • Geodetic surveying or land surveying experience or coursework.
  • Advanced knowledge of geodetic or statistical principles.
  • Knowledge of standard geospatial products.
  • Familiarity with systems architecture, including unclassified cloud environments.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $115,100 and $195,700 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions. Note that individual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
