About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Developmental Programs Coordinator to join our team at Sevita. As a coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our programs by planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate recreational activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and implement meaningful group activities that emphasize the preferences of individuals served.
  • Provide daily instruction and guidance to staff regarding activity delivery methods and techniques as well as at staff meetings.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in Activity Coordinator is preferred.
  • Two years' experience working with developmentally disabled adults, including planning and conducting activities for this population is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing with car registration and vehicle insurance is required.
Compensation:

$17.50 per hour.
