Job Summary

BMO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join our Wealth Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing investment advice and guidance, and developing and implementing investment strategies to meet client goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing investment advice and guidance to meet client goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies to meet client needs, including asset allocation, portfolio rebalancing, and investment selection.
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends and economic conditions, and make recommendations to clients based on this research.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Wealth Management team to develop and implement investment strategies and provide client service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and objectives, and providing personalized service to meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve client service and investment performance.
Requirements
  • Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MBA or Finance certification preferred.
  • Expert understanding of fiduciary law and applicability to trust investment accounts.
  • Expert knowledge of equity and fixed income markets.
  • Expert understanding of tax-related issues affecting investments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment.
