Job Summary

JT4 LLC is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an organizational information system-level cybersecurity program, ensuring the security of our information systems, and providing incident response and vulnerability assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans, manage and control changes to systems, conduct audits, and provide incident response and vulnerability assessments.
  • Interface with the Authorizing Official (AO) and the Security Control Assessor (SCA) for coordination of Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining computer security processes to meet Navy requirements of Risk Management Framework.
  • Monitor information systems and maintain the environment of operation, including developing and updating System Security Plans, managing and controlling changes to systems, conducting audits, providing incident response, and perpetration for vulnerability assessments.
  • Interface with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), program managers, system stakeholders, and external contractors to coordinate cybersecurity requirements and architecture flow down from the system level to individual elements of the system.
Requirements
  • Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training/certification.
  • Seven years of experience in computer system security and/or related areas of expertise.
  • Compliance with DoD M levels and possession or working toward Security+ certification with a CISSP desired.
  • Experience with JSIG, NIST 800, and NISPOM, Chapter 8.
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications, planning, and organizing.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and in a field environment at remote locations with occasional overnight assignments.
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid, state-issued driver's license.
