Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Op Med Optimization Clinic team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and clinical leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 1.00 FTE with a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year. You will work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, developing personalized care plans, and providing education to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective patient care in the ambulatory setting
  • Assume relief charge duties and lead clinical teams as designated
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate degree and current RN licensure in New Mexico or a reciprocal agreement state. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo are highly valued. We also require CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
