Clinical Nurse Coordinator Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Cardiac PCU team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, Florida. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto counties. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement, and inpatient rehabilitation. We have an onsite day care program, Happy Cubs, a 24-hour employee fitness center, and a healthy work environment.
