Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury Law
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload
  • Experience conducting over 75 depositions
  • Trial experience is advantageous
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential
  • Familiarity with Smart Advocate software is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and responsible
  • Excellent research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of personal injury law, tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, and NY CPLR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage an active caseload, ensuring smooth progression from inception to trial
  • Maintain diligent communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the process
  • Prepare, conduct, and take depositions with thoroughness and precision
  • Prepare cases for trial effectively
  • Facilitate efficient settlements
  • Meet established deadlines and objectives
  • Utilize your knowledge of New York CPLR and litigation to navigate cases successfully
  • Advocate passionately for the injured, consistently delivering exceptional results through strategic legal representation
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Smart Advocate software
