Position Overview

The Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront is seeking a dedicated part-time Front Desk Associate to enhance our Front Office team.

The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in welcoming, registering, and assisting guests during their stay, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service and quality are consistently upheld. This position requires flexibility to work both morning and evening shifts, with potential training for overnight shifts as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and manage the registration process, which includes entering and retrieving information from the system, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, and providing a welcome packet.
  • Assist guests during check-out, ensuring accurate billing for rooms and services, processing payments, and handling various forms of transactions.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of hotel amenities, room types, rates, promotions, and local attractions to effectively address guest inquiries.
  • Utilize up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and enhance guest experiences.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues with a friendly and efficient approach.
  • Handle guest complaints with care, conducting necessary research to negotiate satisfactory solutions.
  • Manage guest messages and communications efficiently.
  • Participate in hotel meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous guest service experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest satisfaction and teamwork.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
