Job Description

Elgen Staffing is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a nationwide manufacturer of precision plastics. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders and prepare correspondence to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Communicate with customers and sales personnel to resolve issues and promote a positive image of service excellence.
  • Monitor and control finished goods inventory, hold for release accounts, and stock inventory.
  • Present manufacturing capabilities and limitations accurately and in a positive manner.
  • Advises customers on delivery dates and delayed ship dates.
  • Process RMA's and reviews customer complaints.
  • Daily processing of multiple order types to Finished Goods, Hold for Release, Stock, freight, minimum quantity and protocol policies.
  • Thoroughly familiar with all plant and company policies, price lists, pricing procedures, terms of sale and technical information about products.
  • Reviews and analyzes job methods and procedures to ensure continued effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Confers with planning to acknowledge and maintain accurate schedule dates.
  • Communicates customer needs to production and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Works closely with Operations and Shipping Departments to ensure a high level of customer service and plant efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by customer service management.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service and sales.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Fact-based decision analysis and sales forecasting.
  • Continuous process improvement and customer service process driven every day.
  • Working knowledge of external customer requirements and expectations.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Reliable and effective time management.
