The Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Specialist will oversee daily operations concerning equipment, vehicles, and facilities across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting repair services on equipment such as dehumidifiers, electric air movers, and air scrubbers
  • Diagnosing issues in malfunctioning systems using electrical and refrigeration knowledge
  • Implementing a Preventive Maintenance Schedule for relevant equipment and vehicles
  • Executing various repair tasks for buildings and surrounding areas
  • Maintaining outdoor property spaces, including tasks like landscaping, waste removal, and snow/ice management when necessary
  • Coordinating and supervising third-party contractor services as required
  • Preparing meeting areas for events by arranging furniture and equipment
  • Assisting with Commercial Large Loss projects as needed

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Experience in repairing small to medium-sized equipment
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems
  • Proficient in various repair techniques and tool usage
  • Basic mechanical skills and experience with motors
  • Experience in basic vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to operate large vehicles and trailers
  • Preferred experience in HVAC systems
  • Preferred skills in carpentry

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies:

  • Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Capability to climb ladders and work in elevated or confined spaces
  • Able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry objects
  • Successful completion of a background check as mandated by law
