Are you a passionate and experienced healthcare professional seeking a challenging role in clinical leadership?

We are looking for a skilled Counselor Supervisor to join our team at BayMark Health Services, a leading provider of substance abuse treatment services. In this key position, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care and lead a team of counselors and interns to achieve exceptional outcomes.

About the Role:
  • As Counselor Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising counselors and counselor interns who provide treatment and casework services to patients.
  • You will ensure timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care and identify other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
  • Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversight of counselors once the census has grown.
  • Conducting individual counseling sessions.
  • Coordinating care of assigned patients and presenting patient status and concerns with treatment teams accordingly.
  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing and implementing patient treatment plans according to State regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in human services field and 2 years of clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelors degree in related field and 3 years of clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification and/or licensure by appropriate state body and 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience working with substance abuse population and excellent written and oral communication skills.
