About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the development of our developer platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and evangelizing our API and SDK policies and guidelines.

Your primary focus will be on creating an exceptional experience for developers building on our platform. You will work closely with our engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure that our developer platform remains intuitive, powerful, and aligned with the needs of our diverse and growing developer community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, document, and maintain API and SDK policies to ensure clarity, consistency, and developer usability.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of tools, resources, and documentation to improve the developer experience.
  • Advocate for developer needs and feedback to drive product development and influence the product roadmap.
  • Conduct user research, analyze data, and gather developer feedback to make informed, data-driven product decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing teams to align developer experience initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Evangelize product standards, guidelines, and best practices both within our company and across the developer community.
Requirements
  • Passion for software and embedded programming, ideally having worked as a developer.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in product management, developer relations, or developer advocacy roles, specifically focused on developer tools, SDKs, or platform products.
  • Proven track record in launching and managing developer-focused products or initiatives with a clear impact on enhancing the developer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to advocate for the developer community and influence product development discussions effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions based on user research and analytics.
  • Experience in defining and evangelizing product standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and leading through influence, not necessarily through authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with networking and wireless technologies, particularly BLE.
  • Familiarity with the IoT market and solutions.
  • Experience with embedded software and hardware development, particularly for IoT.
