We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Forefront. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Responsibilities- Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including preparing for next day appointments and maintaining a tidy waiting area and reception counter.
- Greets patients, checks them in for appointments, and verifies insurance information.
- Scans documents into electronic health records and maintains accurate and up-to-date patient information.
- Schedules follow-up appointments as needed and responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
- Orders clinic office supplies and sells and tracks cosmetic products.
- Distributes mail and prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer functions and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
- Must possess attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
