Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish mechanical systems specifications and supervise the design and validation processes.
  • Lead the mechanical design and development efforts for launch support infrastructures.
  • Facilitate mechanical systems configuration and comparative analysis.
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of mechanical systems at launch facilities.
  • Generate comprehensive mechanical systems documentation and technical specifications.
  • Plan and execute mechanical systems testing at facilities.
  • Track and report on mechanical systems progress and activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in intricate facility design.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and subsystem integration management.
  • Strong background in project management and safety protocols.
  • U.S. citizenship or national status is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in aerospace manufacturing or testing environments.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and Launch Vehicle Environmental Control Systems.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
