Job Description

The SaaS Continuity Engineering team is responsible for designing and building systems and services that enable Oracle to deliver industry-leading availability and performance objectives for Oracle's SaaS services. As a Fusion Middleware Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that our SaaS services are designed and built with the highest level of availability and resiliency in mind.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing SaaS Services and underlying platform in a distributed cloud environment.
  • Drive the technical architecture of our service continuity solutions, contribute to the product strategy, and contribute to the development of next-generation availability and resiliency features for Oracle's SaaS cloud environment.
  • Work with multiple engineering teams across organizations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of SaaS services.
Requirements
  • MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience architecting solutions for large enterprise systems in cloud.
  • 10+ years of working experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware products and technologies (Weblogic, OHS).
  • Strong experience in networking technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle database products.
  • Knowledge and experience in using cloud deployment tools like Ansible, Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale services on a public cloud platform (Examples: AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle).
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
  • Understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.
About the Role
