Job Title: 2025 Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.

Job Summary:

The Field Engineer will be responsible for interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and craft, preparing work plans and work packages, ordering and scheduling material deliveries, and assisting in tasks such as field surveying, labor timesheets, and preparing JHA's. The successful candidate will also participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety trainings, and supervise field operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and craft
  • Prepare work plans and work packages
  • Order and schedule material deliveries
  • Assist in tasks such as field surveying, labor timesheets, and preparing JHA's
  • Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety trainings
  • Supervise field operations
Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to travel and relocate to small and large cities as business requires
  • Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related degree, minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time including working rotating schedules, shift work, or weekend work as required by projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity and taking initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
  • Strong time management ability and attention to detail
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work
