POSITION SUMMARY
As an essential member of our team, you will be tasked with managing our marketing initiatives and building relationships with clients and referral partners.
Your responsibilities will include addressing inquiries and resolving issues, as well as negotiating contracts with various stakeholders requiring services. Furthermore, you will take on the role of Office Manager for the Tecumseh location, which may necessitate covering caregiver shifts when required.
REPORTING TO: Administrator
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or marketing, especially within the home health care industry.
- A solid understanding of regulatory standards and constraints in home health services.
- Proven skills in supervision and negotiation.
- Exceptional communication abilities, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and teamwork capabilities.
- Oversee marketing operations and formulate marketing strategies.
- Negotiate agreements with various payers to secure advantageous reimbursement conditions.
- Establish systems for continuous market evaluation and develop a marketing plan that aligns with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective referral sources and payers.
- Negotiate pricing with insurance case managers and other payers in accordance with industry standards.
- Contribute to strategic planning to improve services and meet client needs.
- Stay updated on the agency's markets, key referral sources, and competitive landscape.
- Compile information on community resources and assist clients and staff in accessing them.
- Engage in evaluating marketing initiatives, program development, and growth.
- Prepare reports on marketing performance.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure consistent communication to clients and the community.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
