This role also encompasses oversight of the student laboratory, including the management of supplies and setup in accordance with the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and prepare simulation equipment and materials for educational use.
- Operate patient simulators during training sessions.
- Assist in instructing faculty on the effective use of simulation tools and troubleshoot any immediate technical issues.
- Set up and dismantle training environments for various simulation exercises.
- Provide insights on equipment and supply needs.
- Stay updated on simulation equipment catalogs and operational manuals.
- May involve operating and maintaining audio-visual systems.
Qualifications:
- Interest in healthcare simulation and a commitment to enhancing simulation knowledge.
- Familiarity with audio-visual software and basic nursing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Preferred experience of two or more years in a simulation role within an educational context.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation.
- Relevant experience as an EMT, LPN, or similar roles is advantageous; training will be provided.
