About the Role

We're seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. As a Personal Banker, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in delivery of exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
  • Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
  • Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customers
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
Requirements
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
Job Expectations
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Must take and pass required language assessment
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
