Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in Elizabethtown, New York. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and services to our residents, while maintaining their dignity and independence. We are seeking an experienced LPN Unit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the rehabilitation unit, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care. Key responsibilities include:

* Supervising and mentoring less experienced nurses
* Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
* Maintaining the standards of care for the unit
* Reviewing resident records and quality of care
* Monitoring overall care and reviewing individual resident cases
* Addressing questions or complaints brought forward by residents or their families
* Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management

Requirements:

* Valid state LPN license
* 3 years of long-term care experience preferred
* 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
* Strong computer skills
* Excellent communication skills
