Unit Manager Opportunity at Essex Center

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager at Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NY.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our nursing team and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. This includes:

  • Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitoring resident records and quality of care
  • Representing the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid State RN License
  • At least 3 years of Long Term Care experience
  • 2 years of Charge Nurse experience
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills
