About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Safety Manager to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a full-time position that requires physical presence on-site. You will assist in implementing our Company Safety and Health Program, conduct safety trainings, and monitor subcontractor safety performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project site-specific safety orientation
- Conduct various employee safety and health trainings
- Develop and review Job Hazard Analysis
- Conduct project safety inspections
- Investigate incidents and assist with OR-OSHA inspections as needed
- Monitor subcontractor safety performance
Requirements
- 10+ years of Safety experience with 5+ years in management
- 10+ years Heavy Civil Experience
- OSHA 500 certification
- Strong communication skills
- Computer software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HCSS Safety
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in Occupational Safety and Health or CHST Certification
- Rail/Airport experience
- Exposures of interest: Structures, mass excavation, blasting, airport and vehicular traffic protocols, utility avoidance, trenching and overhead exposure, and fall awareness/protection
Salary Range
$105,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience
Location
Mid-Atlantic region, specifically the Baltimore/DC area
