The Role

We are seeking a qualified candidate to lead groups of students through structured games based on the Elevo curriculum. The ideal candidate will engage students in sports, games, and other activities, while supporting kids' behavioral management needs. The successful candidate will collaborate seamlessly with school administrators, teachers, and fellow coaches, and serve as a positive role model to the students to build kids' self-esteem and emotional wellness.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who has been successful working with elementary and/or middle school kids. The ideal candidate will confidently manage groups of up to 20 students with minimal assistance, and be able to improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed. The successful candidate will be approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids, and present themselves as a confident leader and a positive role model.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan background check, and TB screening.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or other child-focused experiences strongly preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Willing to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.
  • Must have at least 48 college credits completed or successfully pass a CAPE exam.
