Job Summary

The Palmetto Dunes Property Owners Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Patrol Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our community, its residents, and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce local and state laws, ordinances, and covenants to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Patrol private roads and gates to deter crime and assist citizens as needed.
  • Respond to emergency situations, including accidents and medical emergencies.
  • Provide information and direction to the public, and assist with other community security activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports regarding response calls.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in physical security, military service, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background investigation, emotional and psychological evaluation, and obtain a SLED license.
  • Valid driver's license and relatively clean driving record required.
Working Conditions

The Security Patrol Officer will work a full-time schedule, 6 pm to 6 am, 7 days in a 14-day pay period. The position requires regular interaction with the public, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The employee may be required to work up to and after storm or natural disaster events, depending on need and approval of police authorities.
