About the Role

The Ambulatory Operations Manager is a key member of the Ambulatory Services Department, responsible for the day-to-day operations of respective Practice Areas. Under the direction of the Assistant Administrator, the Manager proactively assesses and implements processes to ensure effective management of ambulatory practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient access, registration, and hospital revenue cycle management
  • Ensure payor contracting compliance, insurance referral, and preauthorization requirements
  • Oversee health information management, patient flow, environmental safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Directly supervise designated clinic staff, including employee on-boarding, development, and engagement
  • Support clinical program needs for primary and specialty care practices, as well as population health initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting with prior practice management or supervisory experience
