We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Optician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica in Mission Viejo, CA. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on eyewear and vision care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions, providing expert guidance and support.
- Utilize technology effectively, managing time pressure and customer volume while maintaining exceptional product knowledge and tool usage.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, achieving exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company standards.
- Report safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Stay resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
