Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, ensuring seamless operation of bakery equipment and maximizing equipment performance.
  • Maintenance and Installation: Perform routine maintenance, installation, and commissioning of bakery equipment, ensuring full functionality according to machine specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze, evaluate, and diagnose equipment issues, troubleshooting problems through to resolution.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform preseason and postseason service, as well as ongoing maintenance to enhance machine performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, research and development, sales, and customer solution delivery teams, to advise on potential sales opportunities and complete projects.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training and development of new Field Service Engineers, as requested.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in electrical, electronic, automation, mechanical, mechatronics, sustainable manufacturing, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Two plus years' experience in field service and customer support, with experience in bakery machinery and electronic system troubleshooting a plus.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electronics and electrical assembly and wiring, ability to read schematics, and working knowledge of basic analog and digital circuits, electrical power circuits, and PLC circuits.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for at least 70% of the time, domestic and international travel based on a flexible schedule.
