Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team at ALLIED Presbyterian Rust Medical Center. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory certifications include CCI Registry, RTR, RCIS, RCES, BLS, and ACLS.
  • BLS certification must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
Job Details
  • Position involves CVL Invasive Tech duties within a 75-mile straight line radius.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty is required.
  • Candidate must be adaptable, a team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is necessary.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment is essential.
  • Collaboration with team members is crucial for success.
  • Orientation will occur during the first week of the contract, limited to 40 hours, including EPIC training.
  • Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
Job Requirements
  • Candidates must possess relevant credentials and New Mexico state licensing (RN, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Imaging, or Radiation Therapy).
Schedule Information
  • Shifts are 10 hours long.
  • On-call duties are required, including backup call.
  • Shifts may vary based on departmental needs.
  • Availability for on-call, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
  • Travelers may be required to float within the facility and to nearby locations.
  • Traveling pairs may not have synchronized schedules or shifts.
  • Floating may include assignments at Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital.
Additional Information
  • Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for this position.
  • State tax obligations will be processed through your agency and reflected on your invoice.
  • State tax payments should be directed to New Mexico.
